A Knitting Site for the Steampunk

Today Mrs. Woolenstock would like to recommend to you a designer whose work she has admired for many years, Joan McGowan-Michael, of White Lies Designs.

Many of her designs are quite victorian in style, and all are flattering to a variety figures, including those of the most womanly stature.

You can purchase her designs as kits, or download the patterns electrically through the aether.

Ms. McGowan-Michael has also written a delightful book, "Knitting Lingerie Style". You might be interested in it if you care to craft your own foundation garments or nightwear.

Odds and Ends

While Mrs. Woolenstock busies herself finishing up some odds and ends pursuant to an upcoming road trip, during which she herself will be driving the motorcar (Yes, Gentle Reader, Mrs. W. is one of those brave ladies who has taken steering stick in hand for herself!), she thought you might be interested in a few little side trips of your own.
Today's visit features a beautiful home in lovely Pasadena California, in which Mrs. Woolenstock herself would be happy to reside. It is the home of Mr. David Gamble, designed by the innovative Brothers Greene.
It features much beautiful woodwork and delicate simplicity of line. The only complaint Mrs. Woolenstock can possibly find to voice is it could use a tad more brass.
Alas, we have no photos to share with you here, but you will find enough at their lovely website:
